About Me

A recent graduate from UCSC w/a B.A. in Game Design. I'm interested in all art fields of game production! From concept art to 3D modeling to VFX. I am also interested in the more academic side of games, using games as a way to teach/help others learn certain subjects in a more interactive way.

The genre of games I enjoy making are all over the place but I do enjoy keeping them lighthearted. The main roles I have in my projects are mainly focused on art, but I have had producer experience. I also have experience in UI/UX, playtesting, and animating.

Producer / VFX & 2D Artist

I am the one leading the team, organizing tasks/meetings and making sure we are on track w/development. I was also one of the people reading over playtest feedback and helping the team redirect our focus on bugs/fixes for the game and how it may affect our timeline. I have also created all 2D Sprites as well as all vfx in the game.

A TWINE game that I made in 6 weeks. Can be considered one of the first official games I had produced by myself. A very short game but I learned a bit about CSS through the process.

Attended UCSC for 4 years to obtain a Bachelors in Art & Design: Games and Playable Media. Took courses in UX Design/Research, Game Production, Game Art, Game Design (digital/nondigital)

Skills

3D Modeling & Animating

I have 2 years worth of experience w/Blender. Both 3D modeling and animating skills are done in Blender and is the only program I use. I do also know how to rig a model if needed.

VFX

I have the most familiarity w/Unity's Particle System. Beginner level on this skill but I am comfortable w/the process of creating VFX. Simple animations such as smoke, portals, and confetti are the most complex VFXs I have done at the moment.

UX Design/Research

I went through an 11 week group project of redesigning one of the university's sites. Throughout the project, I learned how to wireframe, make low fi prototypes, getting user input, and how to make a site accessible to a wide range of users.

Concept Art

I have the most experience in character design but have done some work in environment art. Items/weapons aren't a usual request, which means its the one I'm least experienced in.

Producer

Organizing spreadsheets, meeting notes, and tasks through production is something I am very experienced with. I have about 2 years of experience w/leading people to the end goal of a project and making sure everyone is on time or need help along the way.

Adobe

Adobe products I'm familiar w/are Photoshop, After Effects,and Illustrator. I have used them for animations and mockup UIs.
